Powerful flow.
I had to traverse the Ghulkin Glacier to reach the village of Ghulkin.
Glacier travel is a dangerous undertaking at the best of times, so I was pretty scared to be doing it alone. The sound of cracking ice and sliding rock all around me was extrememly unnerving!
Ghulkin and Gulmit.
Met this young man while wandering through Ghulkin. Said he was 15 and his name was Saddam Hussein. He offered to show me around the area for a small fee, so I took him up on it.
